Wall and Floor Tiles / Glazed Ceramic Tiles
Always remember to use floor tiles for the floor. Never use
wall tiles on a floor as they are lighter and not suitable for
heavy traffic.
When choosing a floor tile consider the following:
- Size of the area your tiling.
- Intended use of the area.
- Wear and tear your floor will be subject to.
- Maintenance programme.
- Proximity of outside doors especially if your using natural stone
Grit will scratch most natural stone floors. Therefore look into
incorporating a mat inside and outside the door.
