Training & Development

Central to developing a career within Tubs & Tiles is training. Our company policy strongly advocates the investment in training, which will provide the skills necessary to allow us to promote internally where possible. All new employees attend an induction where they become part of the Tubs & Tiles team. Thereafter, employees receive individually tailored training at branch level. In addition, the Training Dept in Athlone runs training courses at various intervals to develop the potential of all employees.

An example is the Sales & Management Training programme, which includes courses on People Management, Motivation, Internal Systems and Branch Operations. We also recently introduced a Performance Appraisal System to help in the development of employees long-term potential and in the identification of their training needs.
