Heat Merchants and Tubs & Tiles in Sandyford currently require a Stores Person for their shared stores area/warehouse.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
You will primarily be responsible for looking after the stores area of the Branch, unloading deliveries and putting away stock, updating paperwork on the system to accurately record stock, whilst also maintaining a good standard of housekeeping of the stores area. You will also assist with sales enquiries/ transactions and maintaining high standards of customer care within the branch from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Unloading deliveries and putting away stock
- Booking in stock on CORE ERP system, reporting any damages in timely fashion and organising return to Central Warehouse when required.
- Understand customer’s expectations and needs
- Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries
- Monitor customer orders and deliveries
- Dealing with our Trade Customers
- Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or direct with customers, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure the maximum level of sales and margin are achieved as and when required
- Resolve order and delivery issues, and take responsibility
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management

Person Specification

Essential
- Experience of working in a stores / warehouse area in a customer focused environment
- Stock management experience
- Proficient PC user
- Forklift experience
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic & innovative Approach to Work
- Must be extremely customer focused and results driven
Desirable
- Hold a current forklift licence
- ERP system experience
